HOW TO BOOK A LOAD

Step 1: In the menu located on the...

In the menu located on the left click on the Book a Load tab if you want to create a shipment or click on the My Loads tab. Or click on any of your quoted loads to go directly to the booking process.

Step 2: Once you have selected...

Once you have selected the carrier you want to use and have confirmed the rate, you will be redirected to a view where you can fill out the shipper and consignee information.

Step 3: For the pickup and delivery...

For the pickup and delivery location, choose from a location you have created and saved in My Locations or click on the arrow in the Create a New Location Or create a new location by clicking on it.

Step 4: Enter the Pickup/Delivery Location...

Enter the Pickup/Delivery Location name, street address (the zip code and city from the quoting process should show here), and the contact information, including a full name, phone number and email address. If you wish to save this location to your directory, click the Save in My Locations.

  • Enter the Shipping Hours: The time is dynamic according to the current time in the city of origin. There must be at least a two-hour window from the Opening Hours to the Closing Hours for the carrier to pick up the freight.
  • Enter the Receiving Hours: Likewise, there must be at least a two-hour window from the Opening Hours to the Closing Hours for the carrier to deliver the freight.

Step 5: On the References Required...

On the References Required for Pick up/Delivery field, enter any number or references needed for the driver to pick up and deliver the cargo. Add any special instructions or recommendations on the Instructions Include the PO number and Billing Reference for the shipment. These fields are not mandatory.

Step 6: On the Line-Item Details...

On the Line-Item Details field, edit the Commodity (It is recommended to be as precise as possible with the description of the load), the Packaging Units and Type if needed and fill out the Hazmat Information if needed.

Step 7: Click on the Continue...

Click on the Continue

Step 8: Click to upload any...

Click to upload any document needed for the pickup of the freight such as the Delivery Order, Release Order, AWB, or Hazmat documents. It will go directly to the carrier.

Step 9: Click on the Tender...

Click on the Tender button to finish the booking process.

Step 10: Once the shipment...

Once the shipment has been successfully booked, you will see a summary of the shipment information.

Step 11: On the right side...

On the right side of the screen, you will see the shipment documents, including the BOL and Shipping Labels. For parcel shipments only, the label is required for each box. You can download them (separately or in the same document) and you can also send them to an email address.
